Muscat: The national airline,  Oman Air, has announced changes to some flight schedules  due to technical issues affecting its operations, alongside temporary restrictions on certain air routes

The airline added, "These include delays and cancellations across parts of our network. Our teams are working around the clock to manage the situation, minimise disruption and restore regular operations as quickly as possible, while supporting affected guests throughout their journeys."

Travellers affected by schedule changes will receive updates via WhatsApp, email or SMS using the contact details registered in their bookings. "Where necessary, some passengers may also be rebooked onto flights operated by other airlines, subject to the availability of suitable alternatives. We encourage all travellers to ensure their contact details are up to date and to check their flight status on the Oman Air website before travelling to the airport."
